George Monbiot - well researched essays from a passionate speaker who more people should pay attention to.
Grameen Foundation (USA) - a charity that you should read more about; search for 'grameen foundation' 'micro-financing' or 'muhammad yunus' on google / google video.
The Guardian - best uk paper. news arts and culture are often most interesting sections... their music section isn't all that.
Howard Zinn - father figure.
Muslimyouth - an important uk organisation doing good things.
Not In My Name - jews for peace.
Amy Goodman - mama figure. host of the best radio show in america, click listen.
Project Gutenberg - invaluable e-books.
Robert Fisk - from 'The Independant' newspaper's website.
Self knowledge - click on the names and get lost in texts. mainly focused on western / white figures, but still an excellent resource.
Tariq Ramadan - someone you should listen to on european / islamic issues. clever person who knows the shades of grey.
Zaytuna Institute - immerse yourself in the media (audio / video) section, talks with hamza yusuf are especially reccomended.
